Hi y’all! It’s been a while. As much as I have been coming up with things to write to you, I just have not done it. Today though, I have opened up this site and finally can tell you what has been on my mind.

If you have been keeping up with me, you may know that I have been going through a journey. A journey where I have been trying to be a better person, a person more in tune with herself, and a person healing from trauma…

This journey has its ups and downs, but it is worth it. Why? Because there is growth. Yoga and exercise has helped me so much. Praying and talking to God has helped me. Researching has helped me. Doing what I love has helped.

Even if you stop doing the things you love for a while, I think the important thing is not to quit. Not to give up. Not to kill a dream. Dreams don’t have to be purely physical! Be happy in others success as well. Use motivation to keep pushing forward. Give yourself rules, even temporary, to get something done. Such as not letting something get by, like not picking up a piece of trash 3 times in a row. Or if you have a lot of ideas in your head at a moment, maybe it means take some kind of action!

Listen to the slightest things you are feeling. It is amazing how easy it is to let a thought fly pass, but maybe it is not there to just dance in your brain! Act upon it and see where it leads! There may be many paths to a goal, like solving a maze, so do not get discouraged if it seems like something is not going to happen!

Learn how to distract yourself for good. Simply diverting your eyes can help, thinking of a good memory, or going to a new location and doing a new action.

Doctors can help, but you might can help yourself better. I have no idea how invested they are in someone’s life. It is terrible how it seems like a lot of people think they are linked with ‘big pharma’ and want to just prescribe us medicine. I do know that some are really there for you and can have some answers though. Just…do not forget that in this day and age we can also try to figure out how to help ourselves.

As much as I suck at exercising, I do try to at least take advantage of it when I remember to. Like if I am cooking or on the phone, I may walk around and make sure that I am using my muscles when doing so. Or if I am laying down, I might do a plank. I do not think it matters too much about the actual training, but being mindful of your body and centering yourself.

I have found the more mindful and aware that I am, the more centered I become. In past posts I have talked about balancing and whatnot. At this point, I am able to center myself in almost a moment. It feels awesome, but I feel I may still have a ways to go until all energy blockages are clear. I feel as though energy blockages are very real, and letting go is not as easy as you may want it to be. Maybe professional help from a massage therapist, chiropractor, and those energy people may definitely help. If you go it alone though, I feel as though you can still help yourself.

What comes after centering? It seems like we can become so busy with our lives that it is a constant thing we must do. Are there people out there that are constantly centered? Well that seems awesome. I feel like I was at one point (because of herbal drugs), but I did not know how to keep it, if even possible. If that was it, it is an amazing feeling as if you can do anything and you do anything.

So, be still for a minute. Take in a deep, fulfilling, belly breath. Feel from your head to your toes or vice versa or randomly lol. Try not to judge yourself if you feel weird or silly by your thoughts or movements. Try letting go of things that feel like it needs to go like tense muscles or thoughts that are debilitating. Be at the center of every bone, in symmetry with both halves, and at one and connected with your whole being.

Thank you for your time! I hope you have gained from this. Peace!
